Xtrackers Artificial Intelligence & Big Data UCITS ETF 1C

We sold our holdings in our AI & Big data ETF. The transaction represented around 8% of the total portfolio. We made of profit of 50e / 6% after costs. This has been one of the only recent successes in our portfolio. The original theses was to hop on the AI hype train for a while. But as the valuations just seem to be climbing up and up without any actual data showing that all the AI investments would ever make any real money, it’s starting to feel a bit scary holding such investments. Especially when we already have a nice junk of SP 500, that has many of the big companies in the AI game. Now the cash position is at 1600e / 14% which seems reasonable or even a bit too small considering what’s happening in the stock market. We might still want to increase the amount of cash slightly.
